Solace -- Calm - Contemplative - worship

Two years ago I  began to explore more quiet and contemplative worship for my own benefit, I was unprepared for how much it would change the way I thought about faith, prayer and worship.  I was being moved regularly in my own practice, and wanted to try and create a chance for others to try it too.

I hoped that at least one or two others might also find it useful as a way to continue worship through the week in a quieter, more  personal way, as well as shutting the door on the outside world for an hour.  Wonderfully, some did.

This isn't worship that is confined to one hour a month, it can be carried anywhere with us during the week:  when we're waiting for the kettle to boil, a bus to arrive, walking from place to place.      Solace is a chance to try something new, to make silence less intimidating and explore something alone, but together.

We gather in the Link from 7.45pm and then worship is from  8:00 – 9:00pm, on the second Tuesday of the month.

Everyone is welcome, even if it’s just to see if it's for you, so please do join us.
