Autumn Study Series

Autumn Study Series

Mondays September 18th  :  25th and October  2nd :  9th

The Faith Development team is organising another Autumn Study series, starting on Monday 18th September and running for 4 successive  Mondays.  As previously, each evening will begin at 7.30pm with refreshments served in the Link.

“Living Distinctively”

This year we are using a very interesting DVD called ‘Living distinctively – the issues of life through different eyes’ produced for Spring Harvest. The four subjects we will look at will be sure to raise discussion. The evening will finish at 9.00pm.  In recent years, the discussions have been lively and far more issues thrown up than could be explored in any one session.

à The sessions do not seek to provide ‘answers’ but to provide a space in which to explore what we think about the issues raised and how our Christian faith might inform our thinking.

à The discussions do not seek to force agreement amongst all those present – rather, they offer a time and space in which we can ask questions, express doubts and concerns, and to listen to each other, often receiving new insights along the way.

All are invited to come and participate in this Autumn series.  You do not have to contribute to the discussions - we hope that you will find them challenging and thought-provoking nevertheless.  The episodes will ‘stand alone’, so you do not have to be able to attend all four to be able to participate in any one session.    The detailed programme content will be announced in September – watch this space!
