Quiet Day Saturday, 27th January, 2018 9.30am – 1.45pm
This is an opportunity for you to take time out from the busyness of life to enjoy a few quiet hours to relax, to reflect and to pray; to set aside time for ‘walking the way’ quietly with God.
The Quiet Time will begin and end with a short act of worship and, at 1pm, be followed by a time of fellowship over lunch (bring your own). Drinks will be freely available throughout.
There will be resources available to help you focus your prayers and reflections in the quiet time or you might like to bring a book with you. On this occasion, the resources will be focused on individuals who have ‘walked the way’ with Jesus in the past. Their journeys may help you to reflect on how you might shape your own journey with Jesus Christ through 2018 and beyond.
Feedback from previous quiet times like this have shown how much people have valued having the opportunity to be still and silent with God, and yet be in a familiar place, in the company of others.
If you have not yet experienced such an occasion, do think about joining others who will be participating on this day.
If you would like to take part in this event, it would be helpful if you would sign the list in the Link (by Sunday 21st January, if possible, to help with planning the allocation of space, etc…)
