British Legion Parade

This year, on Sunday 11th November,  it will be precisely 100 years since the guns ceased firing and World War One came to an end. In order to mark this Centenary the Orpington branch of the British Legion will be starting their Parade and Act of Remembrance at our War Memorial at 10:40am (not 9:30 as in previous years.) This will enable the people of Orpington to mark a two minute silence precisely at 11am.

For those who wish to join the Parade at the War Memorial, a group will make their way from St John's to the Town Centre at 10:15 am.
